As of October 14, 2008 Service Sleuth has begun verifying social security numbers with the IRS. Social Security numbers will be required before you can sign-up for an assignment. This information is stored on a secure web page and the field is encrypted for your protection. This is a process most Mystery Shopping Providers will be implementing if they haven't already as it is mandated by the IRS. Please take a moment and check your shopper profile to be sure that the name that you have in your profile is the same one that is listed under your social security number with the IRS. The name that you use with us MUST match exactly with what the IRS has.
We have also implemented an extended shopper profile that will require your attention initially. Providing this information may qualify you for certain types of assignments. Thank you.
