Instructions for Protecting your SASSIE Email Settings using a free JobSlinger Plus account

Symptoms:

• All of My SASSIE accounts have suddenly stopped receiving shop offers ... and keep getting shut off even after I turn them back on (especially for AOL users).

• I've received an email from SASSIE saying that my shop postings have been turned off.
  

• When I go to any of my SASSIE Shop Logs, my GET SHOP OFFER Emails setting has been set to OFF (as shown below) and/or I see a message saying that My email has been disabled.

Solution:

We've also set up a "Protected List" program where you can register and "protect" your email address yourself.

By placing your name on this list, you are declaring that you do NOT consider SASSIE shop postings as spam and that you want to receive them.

After you register, we'll claim the right to NEVER shut off your emails, regardless of what AOL (or other email provider) says.

Note: the Protected List registration takes place through our JobSlinger websites. We chose these sites because of their email verification routine, which is required for us to be able to add your address to the protected list.

UPDATE! You can now register for the protected list on jobslinger.com! While registering at jobslingerplus.com gives you the advantage of turning on email for all your accounts at once, it requires a paid subscription after 30 days.

JobSlinger instructions:

1. Register for FREE at http://jobslinger.com.
2. You'll receive an email to verify your email address. Click on the link and you'll be brought to the JobSlinger website
3. Select "Email Manager" from the "My Account" drop down menu (see diagram below)
4. Click "Protect" next to your verified email address

That's it! You're permanently protected!

 

JobSlinger Plus instructions:

To get on the protected list:

1. Register for FREE at http://jobslingerplus.com and sign up for a free 1 month account - no credit card is needed.
2. You'll receive an email to verify your email address. Click on the link and you'll be brought to the JobSlinger Plus website
3. Select "Email Manager" from the "My Account" drop down menu (see diagram below)
4. Click "Protect" next to your verified email address

That's it! You're permanently protected!
(yes, even if your JobSlinger Plus trial expires - we're not THAT evil!).

Bonus: Turn all your email settings back on at once!

If you haven't already gone back and turned on all of your SASSIE shop posting emails back on, you can use JobSlinger Plus to quickly connect to find and connect to all your accounts (Look for the SASS-MASTER page).

 

Then you can turn email settings on for all your accounts at once! (Look for the SASS-SYNC page)
